Wow! What an incredible experience! This is the only oyster tour that offers the oyster deck among the leases. After seeing the overcrowded, touristy Coffin Bay we made a beeline for this much more personal touch. Oysters and wine at 9am? Why not?!! 🤣

We had a wonderful couple of hours with Colleen and Jeff and their grandson at their oyster farm and in their working shed.
The boat ride three km out onto the platform in the bay with the sun and sea spray on our faces was fun.
Colleen was friendly and open not only in telling us about oyster farming and distribution but also their determination and resilience in starting their business 35 years ago. She was also very generous with our sampling of the oysters.
It was a privilege to taste the plump oyster straight out of the sea and into our mouths - with a squeeze of home grown lime and 5 drops of a local herbaceous gin.
An experience in the Eyre Peninsula we will always remember.
